At the top of Tiger Mountain, this rustic log home is one of only 6 homes tucked into a private mountain neighborhood surrounded by trees, trails & nature. Set on 2 private acres, there’s a wonderful feeling of living up in the trees—peaceful, quiet & seemingly a world away w/natural winter waterfalls. Step onto the front deck for sunset views through the trees, or head right from your property to Tiger Mountain trails. Inside, this designer’s own home thoughtfully mixes old & new. The great room features a soaring 2-story river rock wood-burning fireplace, log walls/ceiling, porcelain tile floors & substantial overhead beams made from trees harvested on the property. An open loft, currently used as a 3rd bdrm & accessed via circular staircase, + ¾ bath allow this side of the home to live almost like a home within the home. Original vertical wood walls & brick, combined w/new, old-world plaster, pair w/a remodeled kitchen featuring darker cabinets, quartz counters, stainless appliances, lighting & heated floors. The adjoining family room has a wood-burning stove, & huge windows overlooking the beauty of the property. Upstairs, 2 bdrms accessed from a separate staircase retain original hardwoods & wood walls, private balconies & joined by a beautifully remodeled bath. Outside, natural rock walls, wooded grounds, circular drive & territorial views continue the mountain experience. Brand new flat-black NuRay metal roof, gutters & downspouts. Treehouse living at it's finest!
